ValetPro Classic Protectant 500ml is a protectant and dressing for plastics, vinyl and rubber, suitable for use on car surfaces both inside and outside.
Multi-purpose care for plastic and rubber parts
• Suitable for trim, seals, dashboard, tires and engine bay.
• Water-based formula with a non-greasy finish.
• Helps refresh faded surfaces and enhance their appearance.
• Provides a glossy finish that can be adjusted by dilution, depending on preference.
• Repels water and helps surfaces stay clean for longer.
It is applied to dry surfaces for best results. Classic Protectant is a practical choice for those who want one product for many different surfaces, with a cared-for appearance and easy everyday maintenance.
Directions for use
– Tires and Engine Bay:
Spray a light mist onto tires/engine bay.
Allow it to cure until almost dry.
Spread the product into an even and uniform layer with a foam applicator.
Directions for use
– Exterior plastic trim:
Apply a small amount to a foam applicator and work into the plastic areas.
Allow it to cure until almost dry.
Buff with a clean multi-purpose microfiber cloth to ensure even coverage.
When applied to exterior or interior plastics, it is important to apply it with a cloth or sponge, as spraying directly onto plastic surfaces can leave a fine mist over glass and paint.
It will buff off paint easily, but controlled application is best.
On glass, it will create hazing and may cause problems with glass cleaner until this weather-resistant product has been fully removed.
Controlled application is recommended, taking into account the difference between using an application sponge such as ValetPRO's Wax Applicator or a microfiber cloth.
Sponges absorb well but are also very good at releasing products.
A sponge is the most economical way to spread this type of product, allowing you to apply a thin layer to the surface you are protecting.
A thin layer dries faster and levels better, giving an even finish.
It is quick to apply multiple layers, if needed or desired.
Faded edges may require more product as they begin to absorb whatever is applied.
Continue applying until it stops.
On the other hand, cloths or microfibers absorb but are less effective at releasing the product.
That is why they are ideal for cleaning and drying.
If you are looking for low gloss or a more natural finish, using a microfiber cloth is a good choice, as it gives you greater control over the amount of product applied.
For example, dashboards may require a more natural finish, but still need a protective layer to prevent dust from settling while allowing quick future cleaning.
Once cleaned, you can use a microfiber cloth and a small amount of Classic Protect straight away to revive and clean the surface - no APC is needed unless the surface is very dirty.
